Dr. Miller Appoinment

My appointment and bloodwork went fine. Dr. Miller said that we won't be able to say with certainty that I'm cancer free until after a PET scan that will take place 60 days or so after my final radiation appointment. He did say that it was terrific news that my lymph nodes are back to normal size. What a great day!

Hi Russ,

My name is Bob Hammer. Brian Dowd forwarded me your information, and I wanted to drop you a note. I do some fund-raising for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. I had testicular cancer a few years back as well, and have a 4 year-old Son here today because of the Lance Armstrong Foundation. I started a Foundation and Golf Tournament called the "Have a Ball" (get it?) Golf Tournament. www.haveaballgolf.com

Anyway, I am also in Northern California, and I volunteer for a couple cancer resource centers (U.C.S.F. and U.C. Irvine) to talk with people dealing with cancer.

Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know if you need anything at all, to give me a call.

I have been there. I did 7 Months of Chemo while my Daughter was 1 year-old.

I live in Danville, and my golf tournament is in Sunnyvale.

I am happy to talk with you, save you some spots for golf (I have quite a few TC Survivors attend) or even meet with you if you need.

My e-mail is bobhammer@sbcglobal.net
